Sample Note: A First Pass at Security Headers

Editable starter note for recording a defensive review of headers on a site you own.

SAMPLE CONTENT — EDIT ME: This is a fictional checklist, not a claim that Raider assessed a real target.

Scope

Use this outline only for a site you own or are explicitly authorized to review. Save the response headers and note the date, environment, and any proxy or CDN in front of the app.

First pass

Check whether the application has a Content Security Policy that fits its actual resources, a frame policy that prevents unwanted embedding, and an HSTS policy after HTTPS is configured correctly.

Treat scanner output as a starting point. A policy can be present and still be too broad, or conflict with how the application loads scripts and images.

Follow-up

Record each finding with the affected route, observed header, expected behavior, and a practical fix. Re-check the page after the change and keep the before-and-after responses with your notes.

Replace this sample with: your authorized test scope and findings.
